J'ai découvert cet été l'univers créatif de Keri Smith à travers ses livres dont je ne me lasse pas. Je les feuillète souvent pour m'inspirer, m'imbiber d'une nouvelle façon de voir les choses qui m'entourent. J'essaie autant que possible de consigner ce que je trouve, ce que je pense, ce que je dessine dans ces petits carnets Moleskin que j'adore! Je les traine partout, juste au cas où... La vie prend une tout autre allure quand tout ce qui nous entoure est susceptible de nous apporter des idées de création et d'évasion. C'est un mode de vie que je développe tranquillement. C'est une façon d'observer le monde qui m'emballe!

I discovered last summer Keri Smith creative universe through her books from which I never get bored. I go through them often to get inspired, to learn to look at things surrounding me with a new vision. I really try to put in my little Moleskin books everything that I find, think, draw. I bring them everywhere with me, just in case...Life takes a whole new sense when everything around you may give ideas of creation and evasion. It's a life style that I'm slowly developing. It's a new way to look at life that excites me!

Alors, voilà... j'ai reçu en cadeau une STAMPit pour pouvoir utiliser mon Gocco partout.

J'ai imprimé mon premier motif sur tissu!

C'était vraiment bien!


Bon, vous allez peut-être trouver que ce n'est pas très droit et qu'à certains endroits il y a de trop grands espaces... C'est la première fois que je l'utilise... je trouve ça quand même bien réussi!
...même que tous ces «défauts» donnent un certain charme à mon tissu, non?!

I just printed my first motif on fabric!

It was a real treat!


Ok, maybe you'll find that not everything is straight and that certain areas don't match perfectly... It's the first time I use it and I like the results!

...and don't you find those imperfections make it just as much charming??!
